So, today’s post is something very different to what I normally post. This is the Boyfriend Makeup Knowledge Tag, with my boyfriend, Jake.
I asked Jake a set of questions, asking him what he thinks each makeup/skincare product is and what each of them do!
Here we go!
Bronzer; Is there a clue in the name? Something to do with contouring?
Blush; It gives you rosy cheeks?
Mascara; Ah no, this is what I get mixed up. It’s for your eyelashes, right?
Eyeliner; To do your flicky flicks and cat eyes! (he said this with such confidence!).
Eyeshadow; To put shadows around your eyes… What else would it before? (duh!).
Powder; I have never heard of powder in my life!
Foundation; What you put on your face to get that smooth finish, to hide ‘everything that’s wrong with your face’? (yeah, thanks Jake…)
Concealer; To ‘conceal’ the foundation, like a protective overlay of it?
Highlighter; To highlight the ‘good’ parts of your face, like your cheekbones?
Contour; That’s to *draws an imaginary line on my cheekbones*, get those ‘cheekbones poppin’.
Setting Spray; That thing you spray on your face that cools you down? (yep, spot on).
Primer; Not a clue
Lip liner; To outline your lips
Brow pencil; Get them brows looking fleeky
Serum; Pull your blackheads out?
Cleanser; The silver pot you use to take your makeup off with a flannel? (He means the Emma Hardie cleansing balm)
Micellar Water; I don’t know, but I want to drink it!
Toner; To tone those cheekbones up and get them looking on fleek? (not quite, lol!)
Was this test hard?
It wasn’t hard, I’d just prefer if there were pictures because I could tell you which was which then.
Could you do my makeup the same way I do it everyday?
Without a step by step guide? No, because I don’t know the order that things go in.
Me and Jake had such a laugh doing this blog post! I think its safe to say that I won’t be letting him do my makeup any time soon!
Let me know what you thought of this blog post and if you’d like me to do more posts like this!
Thanks so much for reading!
